Merchandiser for Retail Store in Lusail, Qatar

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join our retail team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the visual presentation and layout of products in our store to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a creative eye for design.

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Collaborate with buying team to plan and execute product displays and promotions
• Maintain stock levels and ensure proper product placement on shelves and displays
• Create visually appealing displays that highlight product features and benefits
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking based on sales trends
• Conduct regular store walks to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
• Train new employees on merchandising procedures and standards
• Build relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, product placement, and promotional opportunities
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in visual merchandising is a plus
• 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser in a retail setting
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have valid visa status allowing employment in Lusail
