Security Officer

We're looking for a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and valuable assets. As a Security Officer, you'll combine your analytical mindset with decisive action to prevent security incidents and respond effectively to any disturbances. We're seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of remaining calm under pressure while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

• Patrol designated areas systematically to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors, windows, gates, and other access points
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other personnel to guard against theft and maintain premises security
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances with professionalism and sound judgment
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain comprehensive daily activity logs
• Operate and monitor surveillance cameras and other security equipment with proficiency and attention to detail
• Perform access control procedures and conduct security screening of personnel and vehicles as required
• Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations and provide personal protection when necessary
• Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement agencies and security personnel when circumstances require
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from employees and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Stay current with security protocols, industry best practices, and Qatar-specific security regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid security guard license recognized in Qatar
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in security operations
• First Aid and CPR certification (current and valid)
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform duties effectively
• Proficiency in surveillance and monitoring techniques
• Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
• Competent in report writing and basic computer skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of local laws and regulations related to security operations in Qatar
• Familiarity with security protocols and industry best practices
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment
• Valid work permit or visa eligibility for employment in Qatar
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Resilience and adaptability in dynamic security environments
