Ride Technician

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of rides attractions and all related equipment in the waterpark.

• Able to maintain and repair all attractions and rides following the highest standards of safety
• Able to identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Able to diagnose any faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs and overhauls on rides and equipment ensuring complete compliance with the manufacturers specifications and waterpark standards
• Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Able to provide technical direction and on-the-job training
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed while on duty paper and electronic
• Keep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed
• Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriate
• Report all potential hazards safety concerns and accidents immediately
• Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the waterpark
• Comply with Health and Safety Regulations

• Secondary / High school education
• Qualification in Trades Technician level variety of engineering / maintenance
• Basic computer skills in MS Office and ability to use BMS
• Good proficiency in the English language
