Chief Engineer - TS​/SCI

GRIMM researches and develops the art of the possible in business modernization and computing technologies through cybersecurity, sensors, tools, analytics, frameworks, modeling and simulation, automated testing, cyber range installation, operations, and maintenance (IOM), consulting, and intelligence. Our practices build on extensive experience in cyber mission support for national defense, and commercial service improvement and consulting. Our engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) learn their trade from real-world engagements, not just textbooks.

We’re searching for Chief Engineer to support the client’s tactical and strategic approaches for mission and ways forward.

• Collaborate on designs, assist with requirement deconstruction, and review work products to ensure sound technical solutions.
• Provide feedback on the quality of solutions and recommend improvements or changes if needed.
• Work with ROU to provide competent technical leadership and responsible project direction through the successful performance of various project management tasks.
• Collaborate with Unit Architect to ensure work products align with the overall unit strategy.
• Complete tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints, interfacing with client counterparts when appropriate.
• Collect requirements and develop designs and action plans for the team to execute.
• Review technical capabilities for new requirements.
• Understand firewalls, routing, switching, and other telecommunications systems.
• Integrate Cloud Provider services such as Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Dynamic DNS, and Web Hosting.
• Design Windows environments, deploy Linux, and integrate with other operating systems.

We are looking for Chief Engineer candidates with recent hands-on experience in:

• Minimum 10 years with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7 years with a Master’s Degree, or 4 years with a Ph.D., performing related duties.
• VMware vCloud and Virtual Desktop products.
• Apple OSX experience.
• VPN technologies such as IPsec and SSL encrypted tunnels.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• US Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
