Amentum is seeking a OSINT Analyst - MID to join our team of passionate individuals in Quantico, VA. In this role you will support challenging, mission‑critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.
Contract analysts will support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Office of Entity Vetting (EV). EV consists of highly qualified security, intelligence, and business professionals making up the Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU). VTU reviews and triages companies for foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) risk indicators; adjudicates eligibility for a field clearance licence (FCL).
DDU conducts business and security‑related research and analysis of companies to inform decision makers of risks impacting initial and continued entity eligibility. RMU evaluates analytic products to develop effective risk‑management strategies addressing eligibility risks and implements required strategies with industry and oversight supports to government stakeholders and DCSA field assets.
- Standard 8-4, may flex an hour at government direction
- Conduct research and analysis of foreign economic structures and their support of military industrial complexes.
- Analyze economic health of foreign states and non‑states to determine defense spending levels and financial sustainability.
- Identify potential economic leverage points and vulnerabilities of foreign economies.
- Must complete a government‑driven training/certification program upon start of work focusing on expected tasks (6-8 weeks, may be adjusted).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem‑solving techniques.
- Experience in data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and recommend solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
- Proficiency in navigating technology at classified and unclassified levels (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools).
- TS/SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8 years (refer to KSAs).
- Prior OSINT experience or experience supporting DCSA.
