Position: Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst

Amentum is seeking highly motivated, self-starting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analysts. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mid‑level analytic expertise to the DCSA OSINT Analysis review submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements and provide direction and support to customers who must remedy package errors or have status questions.
  • Produce RIRs through conducting all‑source research from information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open‑source materials, and evaluating those facts against established DCSA risk indicators.
  • Assess foreign and domestic‑based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements.
  • Support IS Entity Vetting (EV) by producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business, and security‑centric due diligence research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products.
  • Provide end‑to‑end management support of the EV processes.
  • Conduct analytical research that establishes threat to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA.
  • Process, update, and track cases, actions, products, and reviews in the identified system of record and other databases.
  • Research, synthesize, exploit, evaluate, and analyze all‑source reporting on U.S. Government critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains.
  • Conduct all‑source, business, security, and intelligence‑related research and analysis, including, but not limited to commercial subscription tools (e.g., Bloomberg), open‑source research, Government databases, and intelligence reporting aimed at U.S. and foreign companies and affiliated parties while producing Threat Information Reports (TIRs).
  • Develop analytical products that effectively articulate threats.
  • Demonstrate analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards by adhering to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions.
  • Produce analytic products within established time frames.
  • Disseminate intelligence information to customers and stakeholders.
  • Perform local travel within the U.S. as required.
  • Work both independently and with teams.
Requirements
  • Active TS‑SCI clearance required.
  • At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to this labor category, with at least a portion of this experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from an accredited institution.
  • Experience applying data analysis, trend analysis, and problem‑solving techniques.
  • Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
  • Proficient in classified and unclassified research tools (SharePoint, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills and command of the English language.
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills.
  • May be required to lift general office items (20–30 lbs).
  • Expected in‑office work five days a week with occasional telework dependent on government needs.
  • U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate government vehicles.
Preferred
  • DCSA and DoD work experience.
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook (additional).
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands

This is an in‑office position, with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting up to 20–30 lbs, constant sitting while using a computer, constant use of sight and speech/hearing abilities to communicate, constant mental alertness, and the need to meet deadlines.
