Duties
  • Serves as the senior advisor, technical intelligence expert, and consultant on analysis and production support to AFOSI law enforcement (LE) and counterintelligence (CI) activities. Serves as a senior intelligence analyst, with responsibility for production of innovative, integrated intelligence analysis in a very broad and complex intelligence subject area which has application to major customer requirements. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization, counterintelligence, technology protection and support to law enforcement objectives.
  • Executes and manages AFOSI counterintelligence, technology protection and support to law enforcement intelligence analysis and production. Develops overall analytical objectives, project scope and emphasis through a broad assessment of customer requirements, activity and agency mission objectives and significant new information or trends in assigned subject area. Formulates AFOSI's intelligence position on counterintelligence technology protection and support to law enforcement issues. Manages and oversees intelligence production to satisfy agency requirements.
  • Serves as a senior technical authority on law enforcement and counterintelligence support to Air Force-wide programs, as well as the technical subject matter expert to identify, develop and satisfy requirements for intelligence support to each law enforcement and counterintelligence team. Makes authoritative recommendations and defends to AFOSI leadership and staff, decisions on analysis and production matters; often required to make difficult decisions committing funds or resources impacting future capabilities.

    Serves as the technical liaison between the law enforcement and counterintelligence and the United States intelligence community with focus on counterintelligence, technology protection and support to law enforcement issues.
  • Conducts and oversees the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Evaluates relevance and reliability of both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity. Conducts research, evaluates, analyzes, and fuses multi-source information from all intelligence disciplines counterintelligence, technology protection and support to law enforcement to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements. Performs detailed analysis of complex data sets to uncover intelligence gaps and then creates corresponding collection requirements to more completely understand the adversary.
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards. Explains performance expectations to employees and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Holds employees responsible for satisfactory completion of work assignments.

    Appraises subordinate workers performance ensuring consistency and equity in rating techniques. Recommends awards when appropriate and approves within-grade increases.
