Description of Task to be Performed: Provide end user support for a custom application that is used by 3000+ users. The Staff IT specialist will support users with application configuration, configuration resets, data export, application use and other end user questions. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and have experience working with people to understand an application that requires a level of expertise to operate.
Clear explanations, patience with user issues and quick responses are critical. Our team will train the candidate on all aspects of the user interactions. There is a lot of opportunity to grow beyond the help desk into cloud engineering and software development. This position is on-site with our customer in Quantico, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph.
- Provide end user support for a custom application used by 3000+ users, including configuration, configuration resets, data export, application use, and other end user questions.
- Support users with a customer-focused approach and work with people to understand an application that requires specialized expertise.
- Provide clear explanations, be patient with user issues, and respond quickly.
- Team will train the candidate on all aspects of the user interactions.
- Identify opportunities for growth beyond the help desk into cloud engineering and software development.
- Work on-site with our customer in Quantico, VA.
- Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s Degree and Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a help desk person or customer support team. Without a Degree, 4 years of direct experience.
- Clearance: TS/SCI CI Poly
- Experience with ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through support to customer issues and needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Mobile application support
- Experience providing the “customers” voice to the testing process
