Job Overview
Transform technology into opportunity as a Help Desk Analyst Tier 2 with GDIT. A career in enterprise IT means connecting and enhancing the systems that matter most. You will be at the forefront of innovation, improving how agencies operate within the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) IT Technology Development division in Quantico, VA.
Shift Options- Shift 1:
Monday – Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am EST - Shift 2:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am EST
- Initiate and resolve service requests and incident problems.
- Consult with the user community to resolve technical problems and answer queries via telephone or self-service ticketing.
- Diagnose, isolate, and analyze problems using historical database records.
- Route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists.
- Maintain and update records and tracking databases.
- Alert management to recurring problems and patterns.
- Collaborate with system administrators and developers to ensure service completion.
- Provide an outstanding customer service experience across all organizational levels.
- Active Top Secret clearance; eligible to obtain TS/SCI.
- 5+ years of IT support experience in a Help Desk environment.
- Experience with Cisco switches and routers.
- Security+ CE certification.
- High School Diploma (AAS preferred).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Onsite at Quantico, VA.
USA, VA – Quantico. Onsite. No travel required.
CompensationLikely hourly rate: $26.44 – $35.78. Salary will be based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
