Aircraft Painter
Performs surface preparation, treatment and painting of components, small aircraft surface areas, aircraft panels, support equipment, or other items as required. Demonstrated ability to precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices. Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques. Must be knowledgeable of military publications, microfilm, and diagrams.
Ability to precisely apply vinyl graphics to multiple surfaces, including aircraft.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a paint technician to include painting, maintenance, and finish work.
- Education requirement:
High School diploma or GED - Experience with military rotary aviation preferred. Working knowledge of military publications, drawings, blueprints, microfilm, diagrams and schematics are mandatory.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.
- S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
