Shuttle Bus Driver (Part-time)

The Shuttle Bus Driver transports passengers over specified routes according to the time schedule, safely operating a van/mini‑bus and ensuring passenger comfort. Additional responsibilities include vehicle inspection, minor repairs, and reporting delays or accidents.

• Safely and efficiently operates van/mini-bus on specified routes transporting passengers to/from commuter rail station to designated worksite.
• Regulates heating, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
• Complies with local traffic regulations and reports delays or accidents.
• May make minor repairs and change tires.
• Perform operator inspections to check gas, oil, tire pressure, and water before departure.
• Other duties as assigned.

• GED or High School Graduate.
• At least five years of driving experience.
• No serious traffic infractions in the last three years.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Able to understand verbal or written direction from supervisor.

• Be able to stay in one area for extended period of time; may require pushing, pulling, stretching, kneeling as needed.
• Be able to lift 25 lbs.

Rate: $21.06 per hour. Position may also be eligible for a wide range of benefits based on applicable service contract agreements.
