Votre rôle en un coup d'œil
Sous la supervision du Directeur des finances, le surintendant finances joue un rôle clé dans la gestion et le suivi des opérations financières de la organatione. Il soutient assure la rigueur des processus comptables, la conformité et la fiabilité des rapports financiers ainsi que les initiatives de contrôle interne. Il supervise les activités de comptabilité générale, de paie, de traitement des comptes à payer ainsi que l’équipe responsable du processus budgétaire et des prévisions financières.

Ce qui vous attend

Superviser les opérations comptables mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles, incluant les écritures de clôture et les conciliations.

Superviser et assurer le l’efficacité et la rigueur de la fonction Planification financière et analyses du site.

Assurer la conformité aux normes comptables et aux exigences réglementaires propres au secteur public et minier.

Produire des rapports financiers destinés à la direction, au conseil d’administration et aux instances gouvernementales.

Collaborer avec les auditeurs externes et internes lors des audits financiers.

Soutenir les équipes opérationnelles dans la compréhension des résultats financiers et des enjeux comptables.

Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus financiers et des contrôles internes.

Veiller à l’intégrité des données financières dans SAP.

Participer à l’implantation d’amélioration des systèmes SAP.

Assurer le respect des obligations légales et fiscales et représenter la mine auprès de Revenu Québec et de l’Agence du Revenu du Canada.

Participer à divers dossiers spéciaux tels que : suivi de subventions et crédits d’impôts, statistiques, etc.

Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes en lien avec son rôle.

Ce qui fera de vous le candidat idéal

BAC en sciences comptables

Être membre de l’Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec

Détenir un minimum de 5ans d’expérience pertinente, préférablement en milieux manufacturiers ou dans l’industrie minière

Maitrise avancée des logiciels Microsoft Office (Excel)

Être bilingue (atout)

Role
Under the supervision of the Finance Director, the Finance Superintendent plays a key role in managing and monitoring the financial operations of the organization. They support and ensure the rigor of accounting processes, the compliance and reliability of financial reports, and internal control initiatives. They oversee general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and the team responsible for the budgeting process and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities:

Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual accounting operations, including closing entries and reconciliations.

Supervise and ensure the efficiency and rigor of the site's Financial Planning and Analysis function.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements specific to the public and mining sectors.

Produce financial reports for management, the board of directors, and government bodies.

Collaborating with external and internal auditors during financial audits.

Supporting operational teams in understanding financial results and accounting issues.

Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.

Ensure the integrity of financial data in SAP.

Participate in the implementation of SAP system improvements.

Ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations and represent the mine before Revenu Québec and the Canada Revenue Agency.

Participate in various special projects such as: monitoring of subsidies and tax credits, statistics, etc.

Perform all other related tasks connected with their role.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting

To be a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, preferably in manufacturing or mining environments.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel)

Being Fr/En bilingual (an asset)

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
