Project Accounting Controller Role

Location: Quebec City

Take charge as a Project Accounting Controller at Total Power Limited, leading financial reporting and POC processes for the Equipment Division.

Your role will involve significant cross-functional collaboration to enhance project financials.

As a Project Accounting Controller, your expertise will guide the Equipment Division in revenue recognition and overall financial management. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong project accounting skills, and familiarity with financial technologies like Microsoft D365 F&O. Your input will be crucial for maintaining financial integrity across multiple projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own POC calculation process for all projects

• Create and validate financial statements monthly

• Engage with project management regarding financial assumptions

• Lead cash flow forecasts and operational finance

• Mentor staff on financial processes and controls

Requirements:

• CPA required; degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5–8+ years of relevant experience, ideally as a controller

• Strong project accounting experience essential

• Advanced skills in Microsoft D365 F&O

• Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
