Sr Advisor Transaction Accounting & Capital Market - Bilingual

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience Financial Accounting + Advisory Services (FAAS) Process Improvement & Optimization
• CPA auditor or Equivalent Experience
• 2-3 years experience in external auditing
• Strong familiarity and work applying IFRS, US GAAP Accounting
• Experience with Complex Transactions: IPO/M&A/Divestitures
• Experience in a consulting environment both small private companies and large publicly traded organizations
• Fully Bilingual French & English

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Analyst - Transaction Accounting & Capital markets to join a lead consulting firm in Montreal. The ideal candidate will work with external finance leaders to address the ongoing challenges and changes their business is facing, and manage the resulting impacts on the Accounting and Finance functions. You will work in partnership with them to help them reach their full potential, particularly in the context of acquisition, divestiture, restructuring/optimization, or accounting standards implementation and convergence projects.

In addition, you will provide clients with innovative business advice and guide improvements to business processes. More specifically, you will be expected to:
Plan and participate in a variety of engagements (research on the application of accounting standards to various transactions, assessment of financial and governance processes, support in transitioning to a new accounting framework, benchmarking practices across different organizations, designing customized training, etc.). This role is a hybrid position based in downtown Montreal.
