In the Unit Clerk II position, you'll play a key role in enhancing patient care by managing communications and documentation for the interdisciplinary team. You will engage with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure a smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and triage patient and clinician calls efficiently

• Welcome patients and provide essential service information

• Manage patient transport and appointment schedules efficiently

• Ensure up-to-date patient demographics using electronic systems

• Assist with clerical, scheduling, and payroll functions

Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Office Administration Program

• Proficiency in medical terminology within 3 months

• 35 words per minute keyboarding speed with accuracy

• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
