Reporting to the Implementation and Operational Integration Manager, the Technical Specialist works as part of the Corporate team. He or she serves as a point of reference for several teams within the company, collaborates on the company’s standardization procedures, and contributes to the evolution of practices and technical solutions, as well as to the development of skills within the organization.

Ability to analyze situations, make informed judgments, and propose solutions tailored to the challenges onstrates autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative in finding solutions, with flexibility in applying principles to adapt to varied and sometimes ambiguous contexts.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritize requests, and deliver high-quality solutions within appropriate time frames. A strong communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with various stakeholders in a service-oriented manner.

Attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness, combined with strong organizational and observational skills.

• Act as a specialist supporting multiple departments within the company;
• Take ownership of, analyze and process technical requests, including requests for products outside the standardcollection and those related to integrations, by clarifying needs, monitoring progress and ensuring follow-up,while proposing effective, structured solutions aligned with company standards;
• Apply sound technical judgment when processing requests by identifying and addressing issues with the appropriate stakeholders, and referring complex or non-standard situations to the relevant managers for approval;
• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative in researching and implementing solutions, while ensuring that technical requests are handled rigorously, methodically and efficiently;
• Ensure request traceability and collaborate with various stakeholders to structure information, foster a shared understanding of issues, support follow-up and contribute to achieving objectives;
• Contribute to the advancement of technical practices and solutions by identifying opportunities for improvement,standardization or innovation based on the requests processed;
• Identify training needs, contribute to skills development and provide findings or recommendations regardingobserved gaps, in collaboration with the relevant teams;
• Ensure that plans and specifications comply with production standards, applicable standards within the cabinetryindustry and company requirements, in order to guarantee feasible and compliant solutions;
• Monitor the use of tools and practices, including design software such as Cabinet Vision, to ensure they areused properly and efficiently, in alignment with production capabilities and corporate guidelines, and support users in adopting best practices;
• Perform any other duties directly related to the position.

• College diploma (DEC) in design or equivalent training (an asset);
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including Cabinet Vision and AutoCAD;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel;
• Good knowledge of the construction and cabinetry industries;
• Excellent command of French and functional English proficiency.
