As a Specialist in Operations Management at BHP, you will support the management of Canada Legacy Assets by coordinating between teams and ensuring adherence to operational compliance. Your focus will be on maintaining the efficiency of the Effluent Treatment Plant, monitoring processes, and improving operational excellence through risk management and teamwork initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain safe operations at the Effluent Treatment Plant
• Plan and execute site operations effectively
• Contribute to compliance and reporting activities
• Engage in team-based risk management initiatives
• Ensure adherence to HSEC principles and practices
Requirements:
• Background in mining or environmental service
• Knowledge of water treatment and maintenance
• Experience with field operations and risk assessment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with mechanical or electrical equipment is beneficial
