As a Senior Project Manager within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Structures business unit. By leading large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you will work closely with our client groups and subcontractors, acting as an integral part of our project team.
Responsibilities
Grow and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients to achieve the project goals and vision.
Support your project management teams to develop and drive the construction schedule ensuring that completion dates and milestones are met.
Apply your financial management experience to plan, manage and respect project budgets, costs and associated purchasing.
Share your knowledge and be a role model through mentorship opportunities with project team members.
Be an expert in risk management to ensure any associated project risk is minimized.
Take pride in compiling and completing company‑wide project reports.
Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection on the project.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Project Management in the construction industry.
University degree or technology diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
Master the French language at a professional level.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, persuasive, and problem‑solving skills ensuring project success amid diverse challenges.
Strong knowledge of construction and project methodologies, financial management, building codes and associated legislation.
Be a champion and role model for quality and all health and safety best practices.
