Heavy machinery operator

As a heavy machinery operator in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau, you will work closely with all workers to ensure coordination and execution of work safely. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over a billion dollars, you will contribute to the productivity and efficiency of our sites.

• Operate heavy machinery to perform finishing and maintenance work on road, highway, or infrastructure construction sites.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards.
• Work as a team, maintain a pleasant and trusting work climate, and collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and other shifts on the site.
• Take care of and maintain the equipment.
• Perform all other related tasks related to operations.

• Valid CCQ heavy machinery operator card.
• Valid ASP Construction card and WHMIS 2015.
• DEP construction equipment operator or equivalent experience.
• Valid driving license – Class 5.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
