This role involves being an essential part of Pomerleau's civil engineering sector, working on projects ranging in value from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. Your tasks will include preparing for drilling operations, determining blasting locations, and ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and according to specifications. Engaging effectively with team members will be crucial in achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and execute drilling actions with equipment

• Identify blasting locations as per established plans

• Operate tools in compliance with safety guidelines

• Inspect sites for conditions and results after blasting

• Conduct maintenance for drilling and blasting machinery

Requirements:

• Valid CCQ occupation card is mandatory

• ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 certification required

• Need a Class 5 driver's license

• General explosives permit necessary

• DEP in blasting or drilling required
