Location: Quebec City

Bluelime Technical Services is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to support electric utility projects across Canada and the United States. This position will support the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects within the transmission, distribution, and substation sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with utility clients, engineering teams, contractors, field personnel, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate utility projects from planning through completion.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
  • Coordinate project activities across engineering, construction, procurement, field services, and other project teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, action items, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, and maintain project alignment.
  • Review project documentation, contracts, drawings, specifications, and deliverables.
  • Support procurement, contractor management, and supplier coordination.
  • Track project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractor and project performance and support the resolution of deficiencies or delays.
  • Coordinate field activities and work closely with construction and inspection teams where required.
  • Support project closeout, lessons learned, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ensure project activities are completed in accordance with applicable utility standards, regulatory requirements, health and safety requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project management or project coordination experience, preferably within the electric utility, energy, infrastructure, engineering, or construction sectors.
  • Experience supporting projects involving transmission, distribution, substations, or other electrical infrastructure is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project reporting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management or scheduling software is an asset.
  • PMP certification or progress toward PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
