** This role requires full time on site presence.
**** Your role
** Reporting to the Manager, French Services, Radio-Canada of the North Coast (web, radio, TV), you will work as a reporter based in Sept-Îles. You must have the integrity and self-confidence to bring our programming to this role, you will conduct research and interviews, write copy, process audio and video, and produce thorough, fact-checked, dynamic, compelling news content for delivery across various platforms (web, mobile, social media, radio, TV), in accordance with CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.

** We are looking for a candidate with the following:

* Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
* Three (3) years’ journalism experience or the equivalent.
*
* Skills:
*** Extensive general knowledge.
* Good knowledge of current events in the North Coast and in the Eastern Quebec.
* Solid command of the French language.
* Knowledge of English is an asset.
* Knowledge of communication techniques specific to the platforms (TV, radio, digital), as well as interviewing techniques.
* Ability to work well in a team, while being independent, resourceful and self-starting.
* Creative, enterprising and inquisitive approach to fact gathering.
* Good knowledge of how to produce digital reports and manage social media.
* Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.
* Valid driver’s license.
