Support emergency services as a Dispatcher for the Cree Nation Government in Chisasibi. This role involves responding to critical calls and dispatching first responders with urgency and precision.

The Dispatcher plays a vital role in emergency communications, responding to both urgent and non-urgent requests. You will verify and validate information across multiple databases while maintaining clear communication with all dispatched units. Your work ensures a structured and timely response to emergencies, impacting community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle emergency calls requesting police or fire services

• Collect and assess important information from callers

• Prioritize and dispatch necessary emergency responses

• Keep continuous contact with emergency units and personnel

• Update and manage critical databases

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, with additional emergency communications training preferred

• Experience in customer service or related fields

• Fluent in English and Cree, with French as an asset

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure

• Knowledge of emergency management practices
