Its mission is to advance knowledge and train high‑calibre talent capable of transforming environmental design practices through research and innovation. The Faculty comprises some 20 research units and 23 educational programs, all dedicated to the study of human‑environment interactions and the designing of built and natural spaces.

As the only university programs in interior design in Quebec, our bachelor's and DESS degrees focus on the relationship between people and their environments. The School of Design

The successful candidate will contribute to consolidating and developing our faculty team's expertise in the study and design of rich, stimulating environments that take into account the diversity of human experiences. They will participate in the growth of a research culture linked to Quebec design practice by supporting the development of the School's and Faculty's graduate programs.

  • Contribute to increasing the visibility of university research in design through peer‑reviewed publications, local and international communications, or recognized creations;
  • Participate actively in professional circles to contribute to the engagement of university research in society.
