This tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Soils and Agri-Food Engineering aligns with individuals passionate about soil science and its challenges in agricultural sustainability. Candidates will develop a comprehensive research program and deliver quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Mentoring students and engaging in departmental contributions are vital components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and teach courses on pesticides and contamination effects

• Develop innovative research on pesticide and contaminant behavior

• Mentor and supervise graduate students’ research

• Promote sustainable practices in agricultural education

• Actively participate in university initiatives and research development

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in soil science, environmental chemistry, or related field

• Graduated in agronomy, natural sciences, or relevant area

• Eligible for membership in Ordre des agronomes du Québec

• Commitment to fluency in French within three years

• Proven publication record in recognized journals
