Tasks

  • Prepare, plan, and structure theoretical and practical courses.
  • Teach concepts related to truck driving and road safety.
  • Support and supervise students during practical activities and internships.
  • Evaluate learning progress and monitor student performance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching tools.
  • Apply and teach transportation regulations.

  • Collaborate with the educational team to ensure consistency in training programs.

  • Job requirements

  • High school diploma (DES) or recognized equivalent (AENS, TENS).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in truck driving within the last 10 years.
  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
  • Driving record with 4 demerit points or fewer (SAAQ).
  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in truck transportation (an asset; prior learning recognition possible).
  • Required enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in vocational education (with partial recognition of prior learning possible).
  • Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations..
  • Strong communication, teaching, and group management skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (an asset).
  • Leadership, patience, and ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
