Join Pasqua First Nation as a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher for the academic year. This role prioritizes nurturing early childhood development within a culturally responsive environment.
This position is perfect for a creative educator focused on fostering Indigenous language, culture, and traditions. You'll collaborate with educational assistants, families, and community members to facilitate student growth. Regular progress monitoring and participation in school-wide initiatives and community events are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with staff and families to support students
• Monitor and update parents on student progress
• Participate in professional development and community events
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Valid Saskatchewan Professional "A" Teaching Certificate
• Experience with young children in an educational setting
• Knowledge of First Nations culture and values
• Current Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
