Join Long & McQuade as a Lessons Teacher for drums in Victoriaville, QC. This independent contractor role emphasizes teaching and mentoring students in a diverse musical environment.
As part of Long & McQuade’s Lesson Centre, you’ll deliver engaging lessons in drums and possibly other instruments. Suitable for those with a strong background in music education, you should be available across flexible schedules including weekdays and weekends. Teaching experience and a comprehensive understanding of various teaching methods are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct drum lessons for students of all ages
• Design and implement tailored lesson plans
• Employ effective teaching strategies in individual and group settings
• Assess and guide student learning outcomes
• Create an inviting and constructive lesson atmosphere
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in music from a recognized institution
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Proven experience teaching diverse age groups
• Familiarity with teaching methods and curricula
• Professional equivalency accepted in music education
