Work with ACA as a Part-Time English Evaluator, focusing on engaging with learners to assess their English proficiency levels. Strong grammar and communication skills are essential.
ACA is on the lookout for talented individuals to conduct English assessments for second-language learners. It’s crucial for candidates to have a friendly demeanor, exceptional detail-oriented skills, and a good understanding of English grammar. Experience in teaching second languages will further enhance the evaluation process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate oral communication skills and reassure learners
• Utilize ACA’s methodologies for placing students
• Analyze and document learner test results
• Encourage effective follow-up and feedback
• Manage a scheduling system for evaluations
Requirements:
• Fluency in English required at an expert level
• Minimum 30 WPM typing speed necessary
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Background in second language teaching is advantageous
