Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator Position

The UGDSB is looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Educator for this temporary full-time role. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to create enriching learning experiences for children aged 4 and 5 years. Your contribution will enhance students' cognitive, physical, and emotional growth within a structured educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the teacher to implement the Early Learning Program

• Plan and develop daily activities for children's growth

• Assist children with daily routines and lunchtime tasks

• Promote parental involvement through regular communication

• Provide supervision during field trips and extended day programming

Requirements:

• 2-year College Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum 6 months experience in a registered childcare setting

• Strong communication skills with children and parents

• Basic computer skills and a reliable transportation method
