Simons was founded in 1840 by John Simons in Quebec City. Originally a dry goods store, the family company is known today for accessible and inspired fashion. It is committed to cultivating creativity and building meaningful relationships with its staff, partners, and clientele. The company cares about the environment and about the communities in which it does business.
Simons is recognized as a fashion authority with an original shopping concept. Exclusive collections, emerging local and nationally recognized brands, and pieces by top designer names are all available under one roof in the store’s distinctive zones.
Reporting to the Engineering, Automation and Maintenance Director at the Simons Campus, the Engineering & Maintenance Coordinator works closely with the operations, maintenance, engineering and technology teams, as well as with external partners, to support the performance and reliability of automated systems.
The coordinator contributes to daily technical support activities, continuous improvement initiatives and engineering project management, including technical follow-up, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets and technical standards.
The role combines a technical component (analysis, optimization and equipment support) with a coordination and management component (vendor follow-up, purchasing, invoicing and project tracking). The position is also part of a technical succession plan for the Engineering, Automation and Maintenance Director at the Simons Campus.
