We are seeking a skilled Marine Engineer Officer for a full-time, on-site role focused on tank vessel operations. This position requires full-time onsite work with no remote opportunities.

As a Marine Engineer Officer, you will conduct maintenance, emergency repairs, and oversee engine room operations aboard tank vessels. You will also be responsible for supervising engine room staff and maintaining performance records, crucial for effective ship operations. Adaptability to physically demanding tasks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and urgent repairs on machinery

• Inspect completed repairs on engines and auxiliary systems

• Operate primary engines and auxiliary machinery on vessels

• Supervise and coordinate engine room crew duties

• Keep records and prepare detailed reports on engine metrics

Requirements:

• Experience with tank vessels is a must

• Ability to work in confined and often hazardous areas

• Willing to travel extensively as required

• Strong physical fitness and coordination abilities

• Capable of standing for extended periods
