Overview Process and Performance Engineer for the Airbus A220 program, based in Mirabel, Quebec. The role is part of the Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering department, focusing on optimizing industrial performance of the A220. You will be part of the Process and Performance Engineer team responsible for continuous improvement and operational efficiency, steering the improvement roadmap and monitoring transverse industrial performance (e.g., hazards, efficiency, CVAT, rate readiness).
Responsibilities Lead performance analysis, line balancing (SLB), and improvement roadmaps to optimize series production.
Design and maintain standard line balancing (SLB) for all production configurations.
Generate and publish the final line balancing for each aircraft in production.
Ensure alignment with upstream and downstream workstations; act as the point of contact with the EAP (Autonomous Production Team).
Evaluate and optimize transverse industrial performance using key indicators (e.g., efficiency, production rate, cycle time).
Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across manufacturing engineering teams.
Qualifications Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
3 to 5 years of solid professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably manufacturing or aerospace.
Strong knowledge of industrial performance concepts, time analysis, and line balancing (SLB).
Demonstrated expertise in production flow modeling (PERT) and root cause analysis methods (Pareto).
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, finance, methods, engineering).
Fluent in French and English.
