Overview
Tatham Engineering is looking for a Senior Engineer, Group Leader for Land Development in Ottawa. Lead project managers and oversee municipal infrastructure projects while achieving strategic group goals. This role entails managing a team and ensuring effective planning, design, and construction inspection for various infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead business development, mentor staff, and enhance the team's capabilities.
Collaborate with other group leaders, develop business plans, and navigate project opportunities to drive success.
- Communicate updates and strategies to the Senior Manager
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans for group expansion
- Monitor Project Managers budgets and project schedules
- Lead, mentor, and motivate group members
- Identify project opportunities and prepare work proposals
- P.Eng. registration in Ontario
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- Proven team leadership in a consulting environment
- Solid communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with relevant design software and Microsoft Office
