Become a Geotechnical and Materials Testing Technician with Atkins
Réalis in Saguenay, Quebec. This full-time role focuses on quality assurance and geotechnical analyses within diverse engineering projects.
You will play an essential role in field investigations and perform tests on soil and groundwater samples. With your extensive experience, you will report non-conformance issues and ensure strict adherence to quality control measures. Effective communication in French will enhance your collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams delivering significant engineering outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute geotechnical field investigations, testing, and reporting
• Sample soil and groundwater for compliance
• Ensure quality control of materials arriving at site
• Prepare detailed site reports of findings
• Calibrate measurement equipment for precision
Requirements:
• Diploma in environmental studies or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years in geotechnical testing
• Proficiency in spoken French
• ASP Construction card required
• Access to a personal vehicle
