As a candidate working for 12 months in mining operations and engineering, you will contribute under the guidance of a Senior Engineer focused on new mining technologies and safety.
Your role will involve coordinating blasting plans, monitoring ventilation, and collaborating with the production team to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and execute blasting concepts in accordance with guidelines
• Monitor ventilation and drilling activities actively
• Collaborate with production for weekly plans
• Lead safety initiatives among team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering with Quebec OIQ membership
• Skills in management, health and safety
• Software proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP required
• Valid driver's license and explosive permit
• English communication skills necessary
