Position: Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer Role

As a key player at BBA, you will leverage over 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience to lead rock mechanics applications in surface and underground mining. Your responsibilities include field mapping, rock mass characterization, and managing geotechnical site investigations. You will also supervise construction activities and mentor junior engineers to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply rock mechanics to mining and civil projects

• Coordinate geotechnical site investigations and testing

• Supervise civil and geotechnical construction activities

• Conduct slope hazard assessments and analyses

• Mentor junior technical personnel and assist project teams

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering geology or related fields

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification

• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience

• Expertise in numerical modeling software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
