FPGA Engineer - VHDL​/Verilog Development

Location: Quebec

Eddyfi Technologies is looking for an FPGA Engineer to design and validate VHDL and Verilog modules. This role is critical in the design, prototyping, and production stages of our ET/UT products.

You will define digital architectures, program FPGA modules, and ensure schematic validation. The position involves teamwork with Electronics and Firmware designers while overseeing the PCB layout. Your expertise will be essential in supporting FPGA prototype startups and conducting necessary simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and define digital architecture for FPGA projects

• Program using VHDL or Verilog coding languages

• Validate FPGA schematics through rigorous testing

• Collaborate on PCB layout designs as required

• Execute simulations and support prototyping initiatives

Requirements:

• At least five years’ experience in VHDL design

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering with electronics focus

• Knowledge of Altium, Xilinx, and Lattice software

• Familiarity with Model Sim and NDT techniques

• French proficiency and functional English skills required
