Assistant Project Manager

Clobracon Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager. We offer a hands-on, fast-paced and very dynamic work environment, in which employees get to experience a wide array of projects of varying size and complexity.

Job responsibilities for the position are as follows:

• Work under supervision of a PM
• Preparation of subcontractor/trade contract documents
• Tracking and updating of project budgets, including cost-to-complete projections
• Tracking and updating of project schedules
• Preparation and administration of change orders
• Shop drawing/samples administration
• Regular correspondence with architects, engineers, and subcontractors

The ideal candidates possess the following skills:

• Engineering or architectural degree, civil technology diploma, or building sciences technology diploma
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an assistant project manager or project coordinator for a general contractor in the province of Quebec
• Membership in the OIQ or l'Ordre des technologies professionnels
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Proven experience in preparing and managing construction budgets and schedules, change order administration, shop drawing administration
• Must be technically sound - building envelope technology, mechanical/electrical, structural
• Fully bilingual
