Position: Automotive Manufacturing Engineer Role

Join a leading automotive manufacturer as a Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on process flow and leveraging engineering principles for efficiency. Your skills in problem-solving tools and capacity studies will drive productivity improvements.

In this crucial role, you will conduct feasibility studies and develop machinery specifications while performing Layered Process Audits. You will initiate corrective actions and collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering changes. Your involvement in Lean manufacturing will be key to supporting new product development and optimizing plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute solutions for improved efficiency in process flow

• Perform studies on new capital equipment viability

• Facilitate APQP activities and equipment specifications

• Implement and verify mistake-proofing solutions

• Audit standard work and maintain accuracy of BOMs

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in high-volume manufacturing

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• Practical knowledge of APQP & PPAP processes

• Familiarity with industry problem-solving methodologies

• Understanding of automation and robotics
