Join BBA as a Senior Engineer in Rock Mechanics, focusing on geotechnical projects in underground and surface mining. Your experience will shape critical assessments and designs in civil construction.
In this role, you will utilize your advanced engineering background to conduct geotechnical analyses, including slope stability and deformation analysis. The position involves managing field activities and preparing comprehensive reports, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will also have the opportunity to mentor emerging talent within our engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform rock stability assessments and reinforcement designs
• Manage field investigations and laboratory testing
• Review geotechnical construction for compliance
• Conduct terrain and slope hazard analyses
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
• Degree in mining engineering or geotechnical engineering
• P.Eng. designation required
• Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in Rocscience, FLAC3D, and related tools
• Strong written and verbal communication
