Location: Val-d'Or
Take on a pivotal role as a Mining Infrastructure Engineer, where your technical skills will drive project success. In this collaborative environment, ensure compliance while enhancing site infrastructure performance.
As the Mining Infrastructure Engineer, you will report to the Superintendent, Engineering and be integral to planning and executing projects. This position allows you to work with diverse teams and external contractors, focusing on system optimization and problem-solving. Your daily involvement will include technical support and oversight of contractors working on site infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work on diverse mechanical engineering projects
• Oversee installation and compliance on worksites
• Conduct technical calculations and field assessments
• Design and refine engineering and maintenance procedures
• Collaborate in budget preparation and long-term planning
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2 to 5 years experience in relevant roles
• Good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• Valid general explosives permit
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software is a plus
Utilize your project management and problem-solving skills to impact mining infrastructure positively.
