Lead Process Engineer; Carbody shell

Full‑time onsite Process Engineer (Carbody shell) in Saint‑Bruno, QC, Canada.

• Guarantee that industrial requirements align with customer demands and the return of experience.
• Ensure industrial requirements are cascaded, understood, and respected by relevant stakeholders during fitting design activities.
• Verify consistency and trace the evolution of digital mock‑up decomposition, structure, and storage (PBS, SBS, EBoM) in alignment with industrial strategies.
• Monitor and validate allocated volumes, interfaces, and attributes of sub‑system installations and components in digital mock‑ups to meet industrial needs.
• Ensure dimensional requirements and stack‑up analyses align with positioning strategies, datum plans, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Validate supplier and subcontractor quality of inputs and outputs to meet industrial requirements, strategies, and QCD targets.
• Develop macro‑processes, assembly sequences, and positioning strategies for fitting manufacturing activities.
• Manage industrial risks using criticality assessments, process FMEAs, ergonomics analysis, and design‑for‑manufacturing analyses.
• Identify manufacturing equipment/tooling needs, support the introduction of new technologies, and validate associated plans.
• Produce and track technical and non‑technical industrial documents using various software tools and apply revision‑tracking processes.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience or understanding of process and/or manufacturing engineering in fitting manufacturing, welding processes, or tolerancing engineering.
• Knowledge of industry standards in a railway environment (health and safety, ergonomics, quality, lean manufacturing).
• Familiarity with industrial processes and analysis tools/methodologies (FMEA, QRQC, MTM, line balance).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and strong presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with modeling software (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD).
• Management and leadership skills to motivate counterparts and lead by example.
• Planning and organizational skills to prioritize workloads effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset to respond proactively to unexpected challenges.
