Mining Engineer - Infrastructure Focus

Join the team as a Mining Infrastructure Engineer, where your engineering expertise will shape site project execution. Be a key player in enhancing the performance and reliability of mining operations.

In this role, reporting to the Superintendent, Engineering, you will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and external contractors on critical infrastructure projects. Your work will include tactical project management and system optimization, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and industry standards. Your proactive approach will be essential in troubleshooting and enhancing operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering projects across various functions

• Provide technical calculations and relevant field surveys

• Support operations and maintenance with technical oversight

• Design and regularly update engineering procedures

• Prepare budget inputs and long-term operational plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec

• Valid general explosives permit a must

• Familiarity with engineering software is advantageous
