Location: Quebec
Kickstart your career as a Junior Mining Engineer at BBA, focusing on engineering projects in Quebec. Collaborate on open-pit and underground mining operations with experienced professionals.
As a Candidate to the Engineering Profession, you will report to the Team Leader for Mining Engineering and assist with various mandates. This role will allow you to be involved in all aspects of mining operations, including stope optimisation, equipment calculations, and production scheduling, while fostering collaboration with geology and client teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in block model imports and analysis
• Support open-pit design and cut-off grade analysis
• Aid in underground mining method selection
• Contribute to study reports and mine design
• Work closely with drilling and blasting teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
• Two years of relevant industry experience
• OIQ membership
• Proficient in mine design software tools
• Strong English and French communication skills
Develop your engineering acumen while contributing to essential mining projects with BBA in a growth-oriented atmosphere.
