Senior FPGA Design Verification Consultant

Location: Quebec

Elevate your expertise in FPGA Design Verification as a Senior Principal Consultant in Ottawa. Lead the development and validation of cutting-edge 4G/5G systems in an onsite environment.

This contract role spans 12 months with potential for extension. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in FPGA design, RTL development, and various protocols including /LTE and CPRI. You will utilize tools like Quartus and Vivado while collaborating with radio unit development teams to ensure effective hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop FPGA IP architecture for radio units

• Implement complex RTL blocks with rigorous optimization

• Define and execute verification plans using UVM

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration

• Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs

Requirements:

• 7+ years of FPGA design in wireless systems

• Expertise in high-speed protocols and signal processing

• Knowledge of UVM, version control with Git

• Familiarity with FPGA tools like MATLAB/Simulink

• Understanding of O-RAN ecosystem and 4G/5G tech
