Position: Mechanical Engineer for Building Projects
Location: Quebec City

Advance your expertise in residential buildings as a Mechanical Engineer focused on designing critical systems. Work on HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing in a collaborative environment.

This position at a residential development organization involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams while supporting the design and delivery of mechanical systems. You'll manage projects through various phases, ensuring they are completed on time and meet applicable standards.

Your role will also include using BIM tools and AutoCAD for effective design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support mechanical building systems for projects

• Conduct reviews of mechanical calculations and equipment

• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines on designs

• Participate in construction phase coordination and problem-solving

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Professional Engineer designation in Ontario preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
