Engineer, SIG Electrical Design

Responsibilities

Assesses current and future technology requirements in order to identify strategic opportunities for design and process improvements within Micron. Performs decision analysis and feasibility studies on proposed projects and tasks. Defines design requirements for tasks and projects that consider end‑user needs, statutory requirements, and business needs. Assesses workload and resources required to implement a design and works with a cross‑functional team to plan for and execute on project deliverables.

Performs design and development work to meet project or task requirements. Helps define manufacturing and engineering support solutions. Plans, builds, and refines prototype designs including test and verification. Documents and controls designs. Supports prototype qualification by the customer including deployment, design changes, and issue resolution. Manages engineering changes using version control processes. Supports released designs for issues or additional design and development requests.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
