Position: Director of Mechanical Manufacturing at Blue Origin

Take charge of manufacturing excellence as the Director of DFX at Blue Origin. Lead innovative mechanical systems design for a next-generation satellite connectivity initiative in a collaborative environment.

As part of Blue Origin's Tera Wave Operations, this leadership role focuses on transforming advanced hardware designs into efficient manufacturing processes. With over 15 years of experience in consumer electronics, you’ll guide programs through the entire lifecycle, ensuring principles like Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacturability are deeply integrated into product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement DFM and DFX strategies for projects

• Champion DFX principles throughout product development cycles

• Spearhead new product introduction and prototype facility setups

• Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams

• Recruit and lead a high-performing DFM engineering team

Requirements:

• 15+ years in hardware manufacturing engineering

• 5+ years in senior leadership roles

• Proven track record in scaling manufacturing operations

• Expertise in DFX methodologies and factory automation

• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
