Position: Expert Manufacturing Engineer with AeroVironment

Enhance production efficiency at Aero Vironment as an Expert Manufacturing Engineer III. Spearhead the engineering of manufacturing systems tailored for cutting-edge Unmanned Air Vehicles.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking to manage production processes and implement continuous improvements. Your strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering will enable you to analyze and optimize manufacturing strategies. Collaborate with teams to create effective solutions for production challenges while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specify and document assembly test equipment

• Integrate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma for process enhancement

• Develop Value Stream Maps for production optimization

• Craft and refine work instructions for assembly

• Ensure suppliers deliver conforming parts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 5-8 years of relevant manufacturing experience

• Knowledgeable in Lean and Six Sigma

• Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office

• Willingness to travel for supplier assessments
